Fund the 100-Year Archive

The census is free, and it will always be free. That is what lets it scale, and that is what keeps it honest. No paywall, no verification tier, no preferred placement. A declaration is a declaration.

But permanence is not free. The archive still costs something to keep: the infrastructure that stores it, the custodianship that maintains it, and the promise that the record will outlive any single host or sponsor. That promise is worth funding directly.

Patrons do not buy access. They fund the archive's continued existence. Their support is recorded here, as part of the same public record the census upholds.
